Together the colleges teach 55,000 students and trainees aged
between 15 and 101 each year. 7,000 of our students are aged
16-19
-
Together the colleges provide learning at over 250 venues,
employ over 2,600 staff and have a turnover of £55 million.
How the Federation works
The colleges co-operate through a number of working groups on which
each college is represented. These include Joint Purchasing, Social
Inclusion, Professional Development, ICT, Joint Business Development
and Promotion and Marketing.
Each Working Group is led by a college principal and they meet
together regularly. Every three months there is a meeting of the
Federation Board which drives the Federation. The Board consists
of the six principals, and the six chairs of the College Corporations.
